Install

logfold is a single Python file. You need Python 3.8 or newer and nothing else.

Download

$ sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS
logfold-0.9.4.py: OK

The SHA-256 of the 0.9.4 file is:

Put it on your PATH

$ install -m 0755 logfold-0.9.4.py ~/.local/bin/logfold
$ logfold -V
logfold 0.9.4

The file starts with #!/usr/bin/env python3, so it runs directly once it is executable. If your system only has python, run it as python logfold-0.9.4.py.

Uninstall

Delete the file. logfold writes nothing else to disk.
